OUR MISSION

PROGRAM INFORMATION

Our primary goals and three main areas of assistance are:

1) Community cat assistance: spay/neuter and release as well as core vaccination (FVRCP, Rabies) for healthy cats and medical care for ill or injured cats

2) Spay/neuter and core vaccination (DAPP, FVRCP, Rabies) for owned animals

3) Medical or surgical care for sick or injured owned animals

Assistance for spay/neuter and vaccination for healthy animals can be applied for directly through our website Assistance for sick or injured community cats or owned pets must go through one of the Kanab Veterinary Hospital veterinarians after the pet has been examined and a treatment plan is in place. The KVH veterinarian will reach
out to KAAP directly.

Although we want to focus on our primary goals, we realize that situations are fluid and life circumstances change. We will consider assistance of any animal in need on a case by case basis. To help us direct funds to where they are most needed, non-essential services
such non-core vaccination, SNAP testing, microchipping, as well as routine exam fees are not covered by our program.

Although we are working hard to help all in need in a timely manner, there may be a waiting list for applications and we may not be able to approve all applications if funds are not available.
